Ali Lilley is a writer, photographer and visual artist from Astoria, Oregon.

Graduate of University of Oregon, Bachelors of Arts in Comparative Literature & English. Studied at the Gage Academy of Art in Seattle, WA and The Red Barn Art Studio in Gearhart, OR. Personal instruction by watercolorist Sally Bailey, Dots and Doodles studio sessions, and countless art classes.

Author of “Humanity at the Hands of Humbert Humbert: an analysis of the chaotic perception of beauty” essay, NOMAD Comparative Literature Undergraduate Journal, “CHAOS” edition, 2017. Her poetry appeared in Genre Urban Arts’s Femme Literati: A Mixtape, 2021.

Her paintings were included in the Cannon Beach Gallery show, ‘Beauty Deconstructed’, 2021 and as the principal artist of ‘tender are the hearts raised in desolation’ , a film photography & mixed media painting exhibition. August 8/1 -8/3, 8/7 2025, Portland OR.
